Holiday Bazaar at Salem Lutheran Chruch (500 Nth Hwy, Jackson)
On October 18, 19 and 20 it will begin to look a lot like Christmas here at Salem with a Holiday Bazaar sponsored by our three churches. It will be a charity fundraiser for the community with proceeds benefiting the Holiday Gift Baskets and Christmas Toys for Kids. All three days you can enjoy refreshments (cookies, hot cider, coffee), register for daily door prizes and shop for unique hand-crafted gifts for all ages and holiday décor (decorated trees, vine, pine wreaths, poinsettia arrangements) as well as “goodies” from the bake sale.
On Friday, the 19th we’ll have a luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. featuring a baked potato buffet for $7.00. The menu includes “potato toppings” including chili, salads and relishes plus cookies and bars for dessert. “Take-outs” are an option.
Hours for the event are: Thursday, October 18: 4-7 p.m.; Friday, October 19: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Luncheon: 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; Saturday, October 20 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
Donations for the bake sale or other merchandise would be appreciated as well as extra volunteers before, during and after the bazaar.
